What happens on the first call

It lasts about thirty minutes and it is free. Its purpose is to establish whether there is anything here worth doing, which means it is as likely to end with "your processes are fine, leave them alone" as with a proposal. Nobody benefits from an engagement that should not have started.

Come with a rough sense of where the week goes. Which tasks are repetitive. Which ones your team dreads. Which ones somebody always does at the last minute because they are tedious rather than difficult. We will ask about the shape of the work rather than the tools, because the tools rarely turn out to be the constraint.

You will leave with a clear view of where AI would help, where it would not, and what a first project would involve. If we go further, the next step is an AI readiness audit, and after that a plan you approve before anything is built.

Before you write

If you use the booking link, it pre-fills a handful of questions: what the business does, how large the team is, which tasks eat the most time, and when you are reachable. Answering them takes two minutes and makes the first conversation considerably more useful than starting from scratch.

Please do not send confidential client data, personal data, or credentials by email at this stage. Describing a process in general terms is enough for a first call, and if the work goes ahead we will agree how to handle sensitive material properly before anyone touches it.

Where we work

We work with businesses across the UK and internationally. Audits and training sessions are usually best run in person where geography allows, since sitting with your team is most of the value, but every part of an engagement can also run remotely — plenty of our work does.
